BOOZER DOODLE - 2008
Tuesday,
June 3rd - Now Hosted
by Lucky Yates!

LIKE
TO DRAW?
Have
you ever been drawing and thought "Gee whiz, this sure would be
more fun if I was drunk!"? Do you enjoy scantly clad super-foxy
burlesque dancers? More importantly, do you like tator tots? If
you answered "NO" to any of these questions, you're a damned communist.
However, if you appreciate the female form, enjoy drawing and drinking,
and just can't get enough deep-fried potato products, you'll love
this figure drawing event held monthly in the Laughing Skull Lounge
at The
Vortex-Midtown.

STUFF
YOU SHOULD KNOW
WHY
WE DO IT
Our hope is that through the joys of drinking, drawing and hot chicks,
Boozer Doodle will be a cool way to bring together Atlanta's artists
and art enthusiasts. It’s also a great opportunity to meet
performers from the Dames Aflame, who put on one heck of a burlesque
show every month in the Laughing Skull Lounge.
YOU
CREATE THE FORMAT
Boozer Doodle's format will be a little different every month based
on your feedback and input, so please feel free to share your ideas
for improving this figure drawing event. After all, we’re
holding it for you. We want Boozer Doodle to be a positive
experience for everyone involved.
THE
RULES
Feel free to work in any medium you like. All we ask is that you're
conscientious of people sitting near you, and always clean up any
mess you make. Just like big boys and girls. Sorry, but no
unauthorized photography is allowed.
MORE
DOODLIN' FUN
We think it's cool that more and more people are getting together
to draw in bars, clubs and galleries. We really admire the
organizers of these events, because the more opportunities there
are for the arts community to get together, the better! So
for folks who enjoy drinking or drawing (or both), check out what
else is happening in Atlanta:
